IT ALL ADDS UP FOR SAGE & COMPANY – FINALIST the Daily Post Business Awards

Sage & Company Chartered Accountants, based in St. Asaph Business Park, announced today that it has been given finalist status for the Finance Wales Business of the Year Award (up to 50 employees) in the Daily Post Business Awards 2016.

Sage & Company believe in strength in numbers – not only in what they do, but the way their close-knit team delivers a different approach for their clients.  It’s not just about figures – it’s about relationships and taking the time to understand what the finances mean to them.

“We are thrilled to bits about becoming a finalist for these prestigious awards”, says director, Chris Morgans.  “Our success is all about people and relationships rather than figures and finances – any accountancy firm can deliver on the latter. It’s fantastic that this ethos has been recognised and a real boost to our expert team.”

Sage & Company has a loyal tally of small and medium sized local businesses on their books. Always acting in their best interests, with an honest and open approach, they do not make their services too taxing. It starts with getting to know what opportunities the finances present to each and every client – whether it’s a chance to retire early, put children through school or luxury holidays. Only by doing this, can they help their clients to achieve their goals.

“We jokingly call ourselves superheroes because we do believe that our job changes lives,” says Rob Richards, partner. “Finances can be a real worry for some people – we like to translate into real opportunities. Often we act as trusted advisor, you can only do that if you understand the business, the person and the motivation.”

Daily Post editor Andrew Campbell said: “North Wales is home to a plethora of high-quality businesses and business people and the Daily Post is proud to recognise and reward their achievements.”

As a finalist, Sage & Company Chartered Accountants has showed outstanding performance and consistently high business achievement and success in this category.

Rob Richards added, “some one from Denbighshire will win this category as our good friends Lock Stock and Design Reality are also in the running.  We are proud that the county is well represented, as is recognized for it’s superb business acumen”

Hailed as the region’s biggest business awards to celebrate the best North Wales has to offer. This is one 10 categories for businesses to enter with a showcase awards ceremony in December at Bangor University, who are the headline sponsor of the awards.

Winners will be announced and honoured at a star-studded ceremony on Thursday 1st December 2016 at Bangor University.
